Dark area on Unicorn's Gill

A new little unicorn has developed a dark area on one of his gills. Here's a shot of him.

He's eating more and more so am thinking it will go away on it's own but figured I would post this to see if anyone else has seen this on their tangs.

Not sure.. Maybe just monitor over the next days to see for any change. Unless someone can Id a certain cause..

If it sgets slimy or start sloughing anything, thats bad. If its just discoloration, but teh tissdue looks healthy, dont sweat it.

Yeah, there was a zebra angel that stressed him out for the first week but not since. He's eating really well over the past few days so I am expecting it to heal up.

Yeah, he's only been in the tank a couple weeks.

I say throw him on the grill and eat him. If it's delicious, then there was nothing wrong. If it tastes foul, it was malignant.
