Dark Maroon Growth on LR

Any ideas on what this is? I am able to scrape it off but cannot siphon off.

Water params are 0 ammonia and nitrates. 400 calcium 8.2 ph

ive also wondered that as well...i see the "normal" purple carline algae there and i also see the dark stuff u are referring too...always wondered if that too was coraline

I was hoping that it would be coraline. I guess what threw me is that it lights up nicely under actinics unlike the other coralines.
