So to my conclusion these things are money robbers. I've heard people that have had them say that they melt away so they just buy more. I've been doing a lot of research on these and have heard that theses are extremely hard to car me for. I've also figured out that they do best spaced apart. The ones that people have reported melting away have been in a mini colony or group. And people that have sucess with them seem to have then spread out all over a rock. What are your guys experiences with them and what flow, placement, and lightng do you have them at?

A few months. I've had other color patterns longer. Only time they didn't look so hot is when the lighting was higher.

There's no paly/zoa that melts more than another IME. They're all the same species just different color morphs. Although I do agree some prefer different tank placement. Don't let other peoples bad experiences scare you away bud

This is solid advice.

I had a few of the gold ones that were too high up in the tank after a lighting change and lost most of there color.
I kept moving them looking for the sweet spot but never made them happy and if I'm thinking correctly I gave them away to someone with a stable frag tank to see if the color would return or maybe I just gave it away .

Good luck with them.

Thanks guys. It's just seems like a commons thing. I don't know if I 'twas a certain strain of them but I guess I'll get a frag of some. I hope they do good.
