I have a 72 gallon tank with varios livestock. My maroon clown pushes everything over. Espescially my squamosa clam. Is there any way to get it to stop. Would a nem help reduce his territory size? Thanks for the help ahead of time.

That's typical of maroon. I have the same problem too, and mine is 4"+ and it destroyed by green bubbletip it was hosting.

John....welcome to the world of a maroon clown. I don't know of anything that will prevent them from doing this. You either live with the destruction or live without the clown.

That is what I thought. The clown was my first fish. I guess I will have to jusr work around it. Thank yoy all for your help.

Mother nature is funny that way. :) I think it would be boring if everything in the tank got along and just swam around all day.

I have a tomato that loves to swim to the sand, turn itself upright and then whip its tail to dig very large holes. My kids think its cute to see the clown make it 'snow' in the tank. to bad the soft corals and other LR creatures don't think it is funny :) (I should make the clown clean the sand off the rocks. thats it :) )
