Diatoms or other algae?

I've assumed diatoms as the tank is new but it's hanging around for a while.

K. Most of it blew away but thicker areas are a little clumped it seems.

Really looks like Diatoms, how old is your tank? I'm having the same problem right now after switching to a bigger tank.

Tank is 1 month old. If I stir it up it doesn't seem to come back very quick if at all.

Yeah at 1 month old you're due for a Diatom bloom. It should go away on its own.

Looks like a typical Diatom bloom. It'll go away on it's own. Next step you will more than likely see some greenish color on the rocks and hopefully some coraline after that.

Sweet! Pretty sure I am getting some green stuff. All the dead rocks have actually gotten darker and the live rock coralline seems to have gotten more intense.
