My Wrasse who was swimming around the tank yesterday like a champ is missing today. Do these things hide every once in a while? I looked all around the inside of the tank as good as I could without reaching in or moving rocks...no Wrasse. He is not in my sump, or overflows, or on the floor...

:(

No top yet, but I looked around at the floor and no Wrasse. I have some netting coming to me from Arcoholic though so a net will be installed soon.

Here is something I googled out....

Six Line Wrasse

Six Line Wrasse, Pseudocheilinus hexataenia </em>, is a native of the Indian and Pacific Ocean. This carnivore adapts to aquarium life when offered a wide variety of meaty foods such as Brine Shrimp. It will reach a mature size of approximately 4 inches and is highly recommended for a reef aquarium. A sand bed and Live Rock should be provided for all Wrasses. They will bury themselves in the sand to sleep or hide. Live Rock provides numerous small life forms that the Wrasses consider a tasty treat as well as another place to hide when they feel threatened.

a> about this species.
