distilled water for dehumidifier

The water from</em> a humidifier? No. I'm pretty sure it uses copper pipes.

Question #1- why does you dehumidifier need water?!:confused2:

You can use it, but bear in mind, many distillers use copper in their apparatus, and theoretically, the distilled water can contain copper from that. Likely a non-issue, but still possible. Buy an RODI. It will be worth its weight in gold.

It's clear that he is asking whether its safe to use water from his dehumidifier.

Oddly enough we talked about this at the poker party but I couldn't find my TDS meter to test mine. I simply wouldn't use this water though as the dehumidifier removes water from the air but also plenty of air borne contaminants. I think tap water would be safer :).
