New to the club, purchased a used 90 gal tank from Craigslist.
Tank did not come with stand, so this is my attempt to build a stand.

I used scrap 2x4's and the oak was purchased from Home Depot.
The stone tiles were left over from a guest bathroom remodel.
I think the stone tiles would add to the reef look....

I originally had 4 legs on the stand, but ended up cutting them off.
I felt it woud be more secure and stable with additional 2x4's on the base,
instead of 4 legs.

Hopefully the photos can help anyone building a stand. The tank is being set up in a movie room, that is the main reason for covering the back of the stand. I am putting together the tank canopy this week to cover the light system.

I got 90lbs of Carribean Sand, 80lbs of dry rock from MarcoRocks.com
and 45lbs of live rock from Atlantaliverock.com

I might start a new thread as I build up the tank.
ps- I need some Hydor Koralia's power heads.
How many pumps are recomended? If anyone has used pumps for sale,
please contact me...:)

The stand looks nice. If you are going to use Koralias, I'd say two of the Evolution 1400s would be adequate for anything other than a primarily SPS tank. I ran two in my 90 for a while and was perfectly happy with the amount of flow (in a mixed reef).

And welcome!

Good looking stand! I have a 40b that I built my own stand for and still have not finished it. This gives me some great ideas
