Been working in the basement a lot!! things are starting to come together.

I see I haven't really updated the build thread much so latest info below...

Painted floor and started to build some stands.
Put green board on the walls so over spray would not be an issue.
Floated and painted and trimmed said wall (I really hate that part!!) Yes thats 2 part epoxy on the walls as well, I had lots left over!

Ready to complete the stands and get them faced and then move some sumps in.

Well the day has finally come, we have little bitty fishes in the house!!
Got the Qt setup Friday night and went to Nemo's on Saturday.
Simon was awesome and we brought home the first fish to begin the journey.

got the max 170 cube turning water!!



Sump is cycling and probably cycled. Ammo dropped from 1.2 to 0 in 2 days..


120 canopy getting last coats of spar and plumbing maybe done the weekend!!



Got Apex setup to monitor both tanks.. Hate that I had to buy 2 pm modules but oh well.

Just a little update since its been a month. Canopy still not done for the 120. Waiting on one more sand and coat to the doors.

WooHoo two Clowns moved to their final home!! Been in the tank since last weekend and doing great.


Rock Scape for the 120 complete and moved to the tank. Its hard to get the real feel of the scape unless you can move around it but big shout out to my wife who did a fantastic job!

Fish room is still in build mode but its coming along.
Moved water station over to the right and put cabinets, counter and sink in place.

Its been awhile since the last update on this thread and so many things to post.
I have a EMax 170 cube, the 120 peninsula and a full basement fish room to update on.
Since @Trizzino is demanding an update once a week I think I'll pace myself

Still trying to get the picture taking figured out so any pics at the moment will still have some blues, sorry.
Last Sunday we finally got the corals and fish all out of QT and moved to their respective tanks.
We only had 8 coral and 9 fish to move for both the 120 and Cube so the tanks still seem pretty sparse.

My wife's phone takes better pics so will need to first, turn off the tv and get the lights right so we can get a few good shots and post later.
