DIY workshop - How to split anemones

Had a great time meeting everyone. Thanks again for having us over and for the frags.

Thanks again Robb. Very informative. It was nice to see your set up and meet everyone. Nice way to spend a Sat. night. :-)

Quick summary,

The GBTA came off the rock voluntarily as I lifted the rock out of the water...

RBTA1 was stuck in a 3" deep hole, barely large enough to put my finger in, so after some screwdriver prying and a maxi jet blowing into the hole, it released.

RBTA2 was pried off with my fingernails.

The GBTA was cut into 2 Quarters and 1 half, both RBTAs were just cut in halves.

All were put into a propagation basket and seem to be doing fine, I will post updates regularly...

Thanks for the opportunity to see the anenome cutting. I hope to see future updates in regards to how they reform and become whole again.

Bad news and completely unexpected;
Two of the RBTA did not make it - found gooey, stinky mush where they used to be.
All three GBTA, the other two RBTA, the newest addition pink BTA and the rescue rainbow BTA are doing peachy fine.

Might be unrelated, but also 3 acan colonies died over night. Just bare skeletons left, each had 5-10 heads...

Weird?? I collect nems like you and I have seen my Sabee Nems always do this after a few weeks

That sucks. They looked like they were making a stong come back when I was there.

Perfect - nice recovery and already grown a good bit.
The sparkling red on the other hand didn't make it...
