Are there any nano skimmer that actually work? I was wondering if anyone was using a small one and has had success with these. I'm going to be building a 10 gallon AIO frag tank, and was wondering if it would even be worth it to buy a tiny skimmer for it.

Thanks!

Dawg is right but IF you choose to use a skimmer....I used a CPR 3 on my 29 Biocube. First it fit nicely in the "sump" area of the tank and second...it produced great skimmate. There is also a Tunze model (I've forgotten the number) that worked very well for me. I used it on a 29 gallon reef.

Thanks for the input guys! I was planning on doing at least weekly water changes, but wanted to get some ideas on a skimmer as well.

Tunze 9002
Aqua C Remora Nano

Those are the only two I'd recommend...

In a small system, skimmers, IMHO, just stretch out maintenance schedules, but a skimmer can buy your an extra few days between water changes if need be...

The Tunze is VERY small, Like 4.5" x 2" and only need a depth of 7" or so. You can fit a tunze where other in tank skimmers could not go.
