Do your fish spread out

I have a 75 gallon tank and my fish all live in about 5 gallons of it ? Do I need more fish ?

my fish congregate together sometimes too mostly when im near the tank cause they think im gonna feed

Kind of. Before my velvet outbreak I had my emperor angel, foxface, hippo, orange shoulder tang, unicorn tang, and hogfish would all swim from one side of the tank to the other all together in like a flock. It was quite cool to see.
