Maybe most reefers enjoy the instant gratification of seeing that new gorgeous addition in their display? That's how we were.
But the more I'm getting in the habit of Q/T-ing, the more I like it. Gives me a way to get to know the new kid on the block, one-on-one, up close and personal and to just sit and watch him in a no-stress tank.
We bought 7 fish today, all are Q/T'd, eating and cruising around peacefully in their tanks of liverock.
Still haven't figured out how to do the angelfish. They're separated by eggcrate dividers in the Q/T and I'm waiting to hear from John-the-Angelfish-Guru to find out the next step.
