Invasive coral research at the Banks...Orange Cup Coral....

Yep that coral in all of your tanks is an invasive species to the Atlantic Basin and should not be here....so we were there to check it out......

Maybe we should get it all out of there and put it in our tanks. I'll volunteer to help collect.

I have a buddy who is semi pro fisherman in Houston and he talks about Flower Gardens all the time. He said it is pretty clear and they have seen some incredible marine life there. Their most memorable visit was a King Mackerel tournament while hammerheads were schooling there. 60lb Kings would make it to the boat with only their heads remaining!
