on Feb 24.....any takers? it will be fun. diving out of morehead city...

7 mil aught to do it...

ouch! Was ready to take you up until I saw the 7 mil--that's too cold for me-

water is like 60 right now......come on you can take it...hell in the beluga tank I dive in a 7 and sweat in the balmy 55 degree water.....

All I've got is a pretty thick 3; My size is hard to come by-I'd love to go, though

i wear a XXL in a 7m..xl is a major pain to get on....feel like the michlin man in it....but hell the viz is great and the sand tigers will be o'plenty!!

the dive shop has a place across from them that they rent for 25 a night as well..good deal..

Olympus Dive Center.....

oh, yeah I need like a 4x I think that's what mine is--i'm a pretty big guy, but I'm surprisingly effecient on my air consumption--Do you think they'd have my size? I'd LOVE to go, but is there a way I could come back and make it one big day trip? We just had a baby and my wife would go NUTS if I left her with the newborn for all night right now (He's a week old); I mean I could even drive and meet you guys up there-

thats a long drive....the boat leaves at noon on the 24th.......

A little more info like how much?, etc.

I use a 3,5,7 suit that is great not so bulky. used in in southern cal in 55 water and not cold at all.

It all on the the website I posted...

The owner of the store discovered the famous U352.....

I am working in the area so I need to dive while I am there...I am going to join them on February 9 as well.....They are doing an all-day daive to the Papoose....90 to 120 ft......one of the largest congregations of Sand Tiger Sharks on the coast...etc....

Boat for the 9th trip leaves at 7 am....back at 3. 2 dives.....$125 I think.

I am flying in to Jacksonville, NC on Friday night, and heading back home on Monday morning....

basically the same for the 24th...except that it is a half day dive there.

Hell I am just ready to dive and I am doing it...

Here is some info on the wreck

I'm trying to talk my wife into it--do you think they've got a wetsuit my size?? I mapquested it, it's a 10-hour drive from Rome

I would call them....but if you do that, try and do the 9th with me...that's an All day dive trip.

The problem is in NC right now its the OFF season....and unless you charter the boat yourself, there really is not that much diving because nobody is there..They only do 2 dives a month right now.

I am also looking at doing the Queen Anne's Revenge in June...They only alow 50 people a year on it....

Thats $500 and its a 20 foot dive!! But its Blackbeards boat and soon it will totally excavated and removed.....so its worth it to me to do that as well.

ok, i'll have to see-I'd love to go-had the "itch" since fall--we went to a quarry in white, nothing wrong with it, just not a saltwater dive--

look into flying there,,since I will have a car there. 20 plus hours is no fun at all.

ATL to Jacksonville, NC or New Bern, NC.....you could fly to Raleigh but you would have a 3 hr drive then ...

Alright I just paid...Its $125 and ya have to be at the shop at 6 AM on Saturday AM the 9th....

Sand Tiger Sharks!!! Hope the viz it great...Photos will be great I sure.
