Double Skirted Paly?

I was doing usual things with my tank, cleaning, feeding, water change when I noticed a frag of palys I have had for a while now have started growing a second skirt around the mouth of the paly. I thought this was very odd and was curious if this had ever been seen or is kinda common. I know I have never seen it before sorry the pic is not real clear my camera just don't know what to do with the light that my leds put off.

I have never seen one. Are you sure its not just growing through the bottom one?

im pretty sure its growing 2 skirts about 5 of them on the rock is doing it.

My jf bloodshot paly has a double skirt.
