Tank at the T-Rex cafe blows a seal! One of our worst nightmares.

I know someone already mentioned this on this forum or another forum, but I would like to see the "tanked" tanks a year later after install to see where they're at and how they are doing.

You really don't...

Sucks. I always ask to sit near that tank when we're down there. And we're going down there this weekend. Oh well!

Don't be a hater, I have visited the Trex tank many times and it is beautiful. You can set it up perfect and if maintenance isn't done properly it becomes a disaster. Look at Arc member tanks, this club is a revolving door of members coming and going. The guy's from Tanked are making a tv show that has to be entertaining for common viewers. If they spent a hour each episode talking about water chemistry the show wouldn't of lasted a season. People love to hate on people that became a success because they are jealous. Sit back and enjoy the show because there aren't many shows about fish tanks

Obviously you didn't understand what I was saying. I would like to see what the tanks look like down the road, how they are maintained. I know a couple of them at least have been taken down and sold. Never said anything negative about ATM's tanks, just wondering what they look like when they aren't brand new on the show.

Sad day...and it can happen to anyone no matter who made the tank (high profile or local). I just hope all the fish made it ok, they stock some high dollar fish in those tanks between t-rex and rainforest.

What they look like down the road would really depend more on the owner and/or maintenance company

Also, ATM (or almost any other acrylic aquarium manufacturer) doesn't typically make cylinders this size, just like the similar casino aquarium leak several months back that was a Living Color job.
