Dremel cutting wheel universal?????

have a new Chicago Electric rotary tool and I need a larger diamond cutting wheel that CE makes or that I can find at HF. Has any one used a larger Dremel diamond blade on another brand tool. I called Dremel and they said they don't test their cutting wheels on competitors products. Hope one of you knows or I will just have to pay the big $ and get the real thing. Thanks, Bubba Shirl

If you are talking about the dremel diamond cutting wheel with the SPEED CLIC center then no the wheel will not attach to the one from CE. Just buy the dremel cutting wheel with the speed clic arbor and you will be good to go.

Or I found a 1 3/4″ DIAMOND CUT-OFF WHEEL for DREMEL rotary MOTO-TOOLS that looks like it would fit the arbor from the CE rotary tool.

The 1.5 wheels from Dremel require a new mandrel. That new mandrel should still fit on the "clones".

Thanks so much. Checking out Lowe's and HD I know they don't have them at HF.
