im looking for someone to do some drilling and build an overflow. i know chris (Fish Scales) does it but im not sure if he's doing it anymore since his last thread in his sponsor forum, also his PM box is full. i really dont feel comfortable doing it myself plus i dont have any tools for the job. the tank is a 18" cube from Mr. Aqua so i think the glass is kind of thin, 5-10mm

i was about to make a post myself about the best place to get an overflow. my tank is drilled on top of back wall and has pvc elbows, but id like to find a box to cover it all up.

glass holes has a all in one kit to do this, i am going to do it on my new 40 gallon frag tank

i thought about GH but i want to drill the bottom and have a column overflow.

The first step is to contact the manufacturer and make SURE that the bottom isn't tempered. A lot of smaller tanks are not drillable.
If they say it is NOT tempered, then there are several stores and individuals who can do it, or you could order the bits from GH... but keep in mind that even on a "safe" tank, drilling is risky, especially on thin glass. You'll be assuming the risk no matter who does it.

You may have known all this, but better safe than sorry. :)
