I figured why waste perfectly good water going down the drain when I could at least make some RODI water.

I think I'm actually gonna do an extra water change this week just because I'm running the water anyways. Might as well put it to good use.

Considering how much slower those units run in the winter time, I should get started now. That way when the cold snap is over I' might have enough for a water change.

Ok, I'm exaggerating a little.

LOL. at least you wouldn't be wasting it.

True that!
I was toying with the idea of running the waste water to the driveway and then tell the kids I forgot a Christmas present out in the truck. I thought better of it, I didn't want another dent on the truck ;-)

All right, if my better half ever found out, I'd be in real trouble, and the little ones aren't all that bad. The 4 year old likes to help with water changes, I enjoy it now because it won't last long.

Plan B... Blairsville's first non commercial ice rink!

Yes. There is another thread right now about one that froze

Personally, I wouldn't risk it. But then I don't know your garage. If it's insulated well you may be ok. But if it is even close to freezing in there right now I'd yank it, wrap it, or put a heater under it.

I'll just pull it inside
