duplex sump concept

Melev has an example a little offset. With acrylic I don't see why it could be done. Drill the corner of the top for a simple pvc overflow with a screen with macro only and have the botton for the filtration.
Off setting it would allow for a skimmer.
Dunno. Sounds like a better idea for a compact fuge

I have the model D set up with a 20 gal sump and a 10 gal fuge. it has been running for about 2 years. everything in the tank is growing so I guess it is working.

tagging along....I'm looking to do the same thing under my 92 corner due to space restrictions.

Jeff- check out the 2 skinny sumps setup Russ has on his 92 he is selling. He is selling or trading as a whole, but you can still get a pretty good idea and those old sumps are cheap used
