That is awesome. Of course the sixline would have the stones to come check him out first

i too would like to know how much
he was. via PM if need be.
how big do they get?
what are some of the conditions needed
for these guys?

At Wet Pets Hawaii they are normally 150. He had a sale last weekend they were all 50% off. Got him for 75 plus shipping. Came in just under 100 bucks total.

I think 20-25 gallons would be the absolute minimum to keep them in, I know I'm pushing it but I dot weekly and sometimes bi-weekly water changes, run chemipure elite, purigen, RO/DI, topoff every day, aquafuge with chaeto and soon to be mangroves, live sand etc. etc.

I'm adding a Tunze 9002 skimmer that should be here any day as well.

They aren't known to produce a lot of waste or be messy eaters like other eels which is another reason I felt safe getting him.

He really is awesome, I know I've only had him one day but by far the coolest thing I've ever had in a SW tank. Very cool to watch.

I've read this Hawaiian species only gets about 6 to 10 inches. They are reef safe and generally peaceful inhabitants. Most in the 6 to 8 inch range from what I've read.

Of course...

He's not afraid of anything. They are like Damsels on steroids.
