Brick coming from the wall is lit up green as well as the booster going to the pump but it's not powering the pump. Any ideas?
No controller and yes i tried running it straight without the booster. What's strange is that I tested it yesterday and it worked great. It couldn't have been running for more than 2hrs before it died. It's probably just a bad battery although it can't be more than 2 years old. Also, try removing the Booster cable and running it directly from the battery backup. The booster may be bad.
Are you going to do a DIY backup?FWIW,
I’m going to replace my batteries with LiFePO4 batteries.
The batteries from Ecotech are notoriously short lived, from what I’ve read? Classic example of a great idea , ruined by poor implementation.
I already made a diy backup and posted a thread about it, here -Are you going to do a DIY backup?
Ok cool. Thanks. So you just took the old EcoTech and put in one of these. I'm going to run over to batteries plus and see if they have one. ThanksI already made a diy backup and posted a thread about it, here -

What I meant about using FeLiPO4 batteries (above) was to use them to replace the Ecotech Backup OEM batteries. For better life & reliability. In fact, I doubt I would use any other kind of battery on a backup, going forward.
I can promise that ^ battery won’t fit inside an Ecotech backup, it’s too big. You can add an external battery. Just be sure you are knowledgeable of electronics, wiring, etc. (disclaimer)Ok cool. Ideally, take your battery to them. Or, take accurate measurements L x W x H if ordering online.
I drill out the rivets and replace them with screws. A drill bit about 1/2 the size of the rivet head. Start smaller and increase bit diameter until you get the right size. How did you open this thing? It looks like little rivets or am I just blind and they're really tiny Allen keys?
3/32 Cobalt bit pulled them out like they were screws.I drill out the rivets and replace them with screws. A drill bit about 1/2 the size of the rivet head. Start smaller and increase bit diameter until you get the right size.
They didn’t make it easy & obviously expect us to just buy a new backup-?
