They have come out with the new G2, Shipping begins Nov 2012, Also those of us who have the old Radion they have a program that you can if you want pay 150 to get a new upgraded version.

Yup that's the what the 150 is for.

It is different. There will be two upgrade paths. The first Radion was the G1. The G2 is the same as a G1, but with the addition of TIRs and cree XTE leds.

The XR30wPRO is an entirely different model, that has additional color leds as well as the XTE upgraded LEDs. The upgrade path for this will be more expensive than the $150 to go from G1 to G2.
