I bought a used mp10 from a memeber who only had it about 2 months. He registered it online. I've bought another used mp10 that is only a couple of months old too. The warranty card is in it so it hasn't been registerd. When I go to the website it asked the date of purchase and where it was purchased.

1 Can I change the warranty of the first one that is already registered over to me?

2 What do I do about where and when the second one was purchased?

3 I never want to lie to ecotech or anyone for that matter but has anyone else transfered warranties or done anything like this.

Ecotech already replaced some parts on the first one I bought no questions asked but I want to register both in my name so I can have a warranty on paper.

Thanks for the advice

I bought mine used and the dry side needed to be replaced. I emailed them and they basically wanted the serial number and manufacture date. They emailed me some forms, I paid for the dry side, they sent me the new part, I sent the old one back and they refunded my credit card. Pretty painless in the end.

Thanks!!!, anybody else done anything like this?

They are very good about covering products still within the warranty period. My mp40 stopped working. I opened up the control and saw corrosion. I don't remember it getting wet but it's possible. I sent it to them and on the form I said it may have gotten wet. They only charged me the return shipping.
