I'm thinking about getting a new tank. My thoughts are ambiguous between a Cadlight 50G or an Elos mini (20G).

Therefore I came to seek the help of the experts here

Both tanks are all in one and I would just need to get a decent lamp and a MP10 wavemaker.

Cadlight:

Pro: Bigger tank and sump
Can keep all sorts of fish
Refugium

Cons: Bigger, more work, more effort and makes my corals seems smaller, which in turn requires me to go out and buy more corals with the time I don't have.

Quality appears to be a bit inferior compared to Elos

ELOS:

Pros: It's small enough where I can manage everything, and I don't need a lot of livestock to make it look gangsta rezeal (coined by Hot 107.9 radio program).

Easier water change

High quality

Cons: Too small, increase instability and can't have awesome fish like tangs and stuff.

Additional info on the buyer:

I'm really lazy when it comes to fish maintenance, I am willing to spend 1 hour a week at maximum. I also want my aquarium to look clean and ubermodern (as decoration rather than an hobby), without the 54287528437 lines of power cords coming out everywhere, and I don't want my life and home to be consumed by buckets and chemicals.

Which would you choose?

Thanks

Elos tanks are definitely wayyyy better made (I have owned both). The stand on the cadlights are horrible- you have to do a lot to make it sturdy. You certainly lose out on some nice size though (more fish / better fish selection for a 50g). I am actually selling an elos 70 for the price of a cadlights 50g if you are interested. That would be the best of both worlds :)

I have read way too many horror stories about cadlights to ever consider them for anything I need.
