Encrusting monti PO'ed?

I have two frags of the same specimen in my tank, in two different locations (Rainbow monti).
WHen I came home today / both had zero polyps and looked unhappy. all the other montis and SPS seem to be happy and thriving.
Since BOTH of them in different locations did the same thing - what you guys think might be the reason?

Why only the rainbows?
There are dozen others that are fine...

ive also noticed that sometimes only one species of coral get mad in my tank as well
ive got 5 kinds of zoas in my tank and only the pink ones close up if my sg raises
it could be one of your params off just enough to piss it off and nothing else is affected by this change

Maby they r the first kinds of corals to get affect from a mineral Imbalance. Kinda like how raising Cooper n a tank slowly won't kill everyone off at one time. But it will start with the most sensitive inverts. B 4 it kills of a mushroom. If the r still mad tomorrow do a 10 percent wc if that helps there u go

How long have they been in there? What lights were they under and what are they under now? Are they different heights in the tank?
