Hey guys anyone have equipment suggestions for a 32 gallon biocube? Heater, power head, anything extra? Im looking at jeabo wavemakers for the power head.

I really like the Cobalt heaters...they are small and fit good in your aquarium. Mine on my 28.2 waterbox keeps the temp exactly at 78.

I recommend an auto top off and a skimmer. The jeabo wavemaker with an included controller is nice; I have one and run it on random mode. My favorite heater is the Aqueon Pro.

For upgrades, Intank makes some nice media baskets. There are also some light upgrades you can do like Steve's LEDs.

This is what i use in my 32 gal biocube
Steve's leds in the hood. Not cheap but definitely worth it
Cobalt neo therm heater. The best heater out there. I also run heater controller just to be safe. I do this on all my tanks fresh and salt
Intank media basket and fuge.
Auqa Gadget chaetomax led This has been working great for me
sicce syncra silent 1.5 pump. Moves plenty of water and is silent
I do not use a skimmer. I do a 5-8 gal water change every two weeks and this has worked out great for the last couple years.

DOH I also use the smallest jeabo wave maker. Works great. I take mine out and give it a bath in citric acid solution about 1-2 times a year

The OW is newer; get it instead. It has quad-pole impellers and all electronics have been moved to the external controller. But to answer your question, the SW is a little smaller and less powerful.

I have had an OW for a while and it has been good. It was a little noisy at first, but quieted down after a couple of days.

Here’s my mods:
-never really needed a top-off because very little Evap with hood....just add a few oz’s of rodi every couple of days.
-3 gallon water change every week
-75w Cobalt neotherm
-Intank media basket (filter floss, bio media and chemipure blue
-Eshopps nano skimmer
-Random flow generator nozzle with adapter
-Sicce 1.0 return pump
-IM mimimax media reactor running sea chem phosguard
-MP10wqd
-just installed a replacement cooling fan i bought off of eBay for $14....twice the cfm as compared to stock fan. Had a problem last year with tank heating up....hoping this will remed the problem.
