Equipment

If that fails and you can do without it for a couple days, send it to me, I'd be happy to look at it and see if I can get it working right.

Once you get it online your mind will change about its benefit.

We've called and asked them before.

I have a Mac, and they said it can be difficult to program them for macs.

They told us to go get a pc and then they could remotely connect and configure it.

I will not go buy a PC just to use this piece of equipment to its fullest. Either it was a bad day and the guy didn't want to mess with it, or I'll have to send it off.

I know people configure it with macs, I've talked to a few.

Unfortunately, it would be difficult to go with out it at this point. It controls my ca reactor.

I have a mac and have never had a problem with it.

I do however, use a PC for upgrading the firmware on it. I suppose I could try their mac methods but the PC way was always dead simple for upgrading.

For configuring though a mac should not be a prob. Dunno. If you were closer I'd give it a whirl at your place, but you're a bit of a hike for me.

Also, check out the Neptune forum on RC. There are a LOT of very knowledgable people there who would be able to help you out.

Dylan, got any friends near by that have laptops? I don't know how long it would take Neptune to troubleshoot or what hours they are available but if it comes to it I could bring my laptop over. At least then you could see if it is a hardware issue or just a software issue.

Thanks for the offer, I will take you up on that when you make it out here one of these days.
