My randalls are not to distructive but my tiger pistol is a total bulldozer and a goby killer! He has murdered every goby I ever bought for him to bond with. After four attempts I finally figured out what he was doing! Poor little gobies I sent to there doom...I feel horrible. So he lives in my ten gallon just burrying everything in sight.

Hey gang, what's the over/under on Eric shopping for a new tank?!?! It's looking good man and I'd be shocked if you don't have a "budget" number in your head for a new system. It's my opinion that almost everyone in this hobby has these thoughts...

Nope. I already did that part . I've had a 125 that crashed and burned more times then an AMC gremlin , a 75 that died in a move then again in a power outage . I'm over big tanks .

Have been sketching out a small frag tank :)

Here's some pics post remodel. Everything is glued to smaller rocks on the main structure that can be removed when it's time to make space . IMG_20190408_212956.jpg

The right side will be Euphyllia . I have the frogspawns on the lower end and hammers on top . Still looking for one more color option. IMG_20190408_211958.jpgThats the frag from the March meeting from the LPS fragging demo . ( Thanks again )

The left front is all my zoas . All of these have come from members on here . Hoping to let them grow over the entire face .
You can also see the two branches I have my Duncan's on . Hoping they will grow up and let the zoas grow under them .

IMG_20190408_191526.jpg here's another shot of the Duncan's and a piece of Xenia my wife loves :rolleyes:IMG_20190408_212921.jpg

On another follow up note the sponge has totally engulfed the candy cane , and the coral looks better then ever . You can really see the valves on the sponge now .

Other then that I added a couple peppermint shrimp that ate every pest anenome in 6 hrs flat . Here's a few random pics of some mushrooms and what not . I'm sure most of you will recognize these from your frag tanks . IMG_20190408_191639.jpgIMG_20190408_212026.jpgIMG_20190408_212054.jpgIMG_20190408_191552.jpgIMG_20190408_191608.jpg

Everything is looking really nice! I can see some growth in some of the things as well which show things are going well!

It is interesting. Sponges are very cool. I have never had good results with that type of candy cane in my systems. Watching yours to see how it does. :) Looks happy right now!

@Eric_n_Ga What did you use to attach your GSP to the back of your tank? I'm reading conflicting reports about success with different methods (Namely: super glue gel, epoxy, magnets and propping with a rock). Both types of my GSP have acclimated really well and I'd like to mount them as well as yours seem to be.

Super glue . I put a dab on the plastic and let it cure . Then globbed the gsp and held it for a min or so and no issues .

Dry it with a paper towel . When you press it to the glue on the plastic twist it and smoosh it together

Wait, I thought I was doing this under water on the back of the aquarium? Or did you mean that I should take out the GSP, pop off frag plug, dry the bottom and put the dab of glue directly on the bottom of it?

The original answer made me think I was supposed to dab some glue on the back wall first and then smush on the GSP.

I took mine off the plug , dried it , apply super glue ...out of the water.

Then stick that to the glue you applied to the plastic ...under water .

Twist and press , hold for 30 sec

Pretty pleased with the sps I have so far . Didn't plan on any at all but I'm glad I decided to try .
