ever kept Porcelain Anemone Crab ?

I've got one that lives in my rbta. It's one of the most popular things noticed by non reefers that look at my tank. My rbta seems happy with him there too

Just make sure you don't add a clown... porcelain's are pansies and will get evicted if the clownfish decides to claim the anemone. Although some have reported that larger nem's can provide enough space for both... maybe.

Anyone had any reports of this "crab" successfully being hosted by other kinds of anemones; say rock flower, mini carpet, etc?

Best picture I could get tonight. I have a large RBTA that has been hosting 2 maroon clowns and an anenome crab for over a year now.

The crab NEVER leaves the anenome.

A couple of pictures from a while ago when everyone was smaller...

I think one of these will be next on my list.
I have a bubbletip that my clown cares nothing for.
Thankyou all for the feed back.

I want one one, but I'm afraid my clowns won't approve. My female is ultra protective of her home.

The crab pretty much stays near the mouth of the anenome. The clowns pretty much hang out in the testacles.
There is some squabbling every now and then, but everyone seems happy. Just make sure the anenome is large enough to support them all without them being in each others way.

Haha...I didn't know anemones had those...

Oh. I meant "tentacles". :lol2:

That would make one very happy anenome, huh?
