expired caribsea sand

i bout this stuff either early this year or late last year and never used it. i was fixing to start my 5.5g with some and noticed it doesn't have an expiration date. should i be concerned or just go a head and use it. will it just make my cycle last longer?

Rinse what you use before adding it to the tank. That should take care of any ammonia or nasties in it.
