Feeder fish breeders

Anybody breed there own feeder fish? Convict cichlids, tilapia...etc. don’t want to set up a breeder tank and don’t want to buy from a store because of parasites

you use cichlids and tilapia as feeder fish? I always assumed you just used the cheap gold fish from Petco as feeder fish. At least that's what I used when I had an arowana.

That’s like McDonald’s for fish and full of parasites. I don’t trust them. Convict cichlids breed like crazy and are better in my opinion for a feeder fish and tilapia for when my fish gets bigger. I got a goonch catfish

what do you keep that fish in? that's intense.

Right now its a baby at 9” in a 40 gal breeder, then to a 125gal or so and then to his home of 600gal for a few years
