how often do you feed your tank? what is the best so the fish are not hungry and you don't have to much waste in the tank?

I feed my Fish a small amount every day, mysis shrimp, pellets, table shrimp on rotation but I only put it in in very small doses and make sure they eat it all before giving anymore. I also keep nori on the clip at all times for grazing. They LOVE the mysis and I hear it is really good for them, they have lost interest somewhat in the table shrimp, my snails end up eating what may be left at the bottom

I target feed my corals every 3 days using reef roids and feed table shrimp to my GBTA

I put a small piece of nori in everyday when I get home from work. I feed in a 4 day cycle. Small amount of pellets & flake one day, skip a day, frozen food then skip another day. It seems to work and my nitrate/phosphate levels stay reasonable with regular maintainence. When I do feed it usually take 10+ minutes. I feed slowly making sure it's all gone before I add any more. I also have a snowflake eel that I feed every three days. Clams, shrimp, krill and silversides from time to time. I soak everything in Seachem Vitro (sp?). I constantly have to remind myself that "A hungry fish is a healthy fish!"

yes, I soak everything too - my own little vitamin marinade I let the food sit in (thaw in) all week in my fridge. Havent tried the vitro yet - may need to pick some up

I rescued a Yellow Tang with LLE and really try to feed a number of different items with extra vitamins. I know there are all kinds of posts about LLE but I figure a nice fortified & balanced diet is good for all the fish regardless it's ability to prevent LLE. I"ve had him for 3 years now and he looks a little rough but he seems happy enough!
