Iv been away for a few days and came in today to find my female with what looks to be black freckles.
Everything I found on it says its Hyper melaninization.
caused from hosting soft coral and lps , but I have very little lps , so I'm trying to discover the culprit.
A little over a week ago I added some millipora frags and I'm aware of the sting they pack could this be the cause.

Most ppl report them hosting a bubble coral , frog spawn , or hammer.
I Have neither of those the only lps is Duncan's and a lobo and a scroll which iv never seen any fish close to.
Also I have a lot of zoa's and a toad stool and 5 or 6 Yuma Ricordia .
The fish is healthy and eats great I'm not worried just curious if anyone is familiar with this condition.

Thanks for the input James , I'll see where she's sleeping , apparently gsp does it also so it could be any number of coral.

My clowns at work both sleep in zoas and I have noticed this happening also.

Very strange . She's in her night night spot above the return so I'm very curious as to what's caused it because this fish really never hosted anything but a power head or return , ignores bta all together.
