few questions about a new tank setup

so i bought a 29g biocube with a 150w mh light yesterday.

I put in 10lbs of live rock and 20lbs of base rock in the tank yesterday and today 10lbs of live figi pink sand.

Should i add a dead shrimp to the tank to help it cycle? Raw or cooked?
How long should i wait to add fish or coral?

Leave it be for a month. No shrimp or anything Keep testing till 0 all the way

ya thats what i thought. what would you prefer as far as aquascaping, a cave kinda thing or a nice sloping stack of rocks?

I like Islands best. Always looks super clean in tanks or "Bonsai" styles

well i cant decide between a cave or a stack. I looked at pictures and the stack method looks like it could hold more corals but the cave method looks like it would give a cool place for the fish to chill out in.

Edit: and idk how id do islands in a 29g biocube, not enough space.
