This process has been a definite learning experience. So about 3-4 months ago, I got a calcium reactor setup from a member and was a little scared to set it up. Didn't know exactly where everything went and was scared that it would make my tank crash if done incorrectly. The setup was working at the member's house (as far as I could tell) but it was definitely used. I brought it back and by the time I ordered a new circulation pump and set it up, I found that the solenoid was not working properly. A few weeks of trying to find the right parts to make it work finally led me to buy the new milwaukee regulator kit. Tried to set it up but the process of calibrating my pH probe led to buying a new one since the sensor was too old. Now, I am a little upset, but still, I think I got a good deal. Finally, set everything up and still something is wrong with the way the plumbing is set up on the reactor so I waited a few more weeks and finally, after selling my 14gal cube, I pulled the trigger and bought quality. I am the proud owner of an MRC calcium reactor! Granted it's small, but so is my tank. 65 gal. So here are pictures of the setup and a FTS. I've got it dialed in at the moment and will be doing daily water tests to see how things are going. Hopefully in a couple of months I will post another FTS and you will see a difference! Thanks for looking.
