Need Neptune DOS Help

I set up a DOS this morning to dose kalkwasser. Calibrated it, and everything's working like it should.

The problem is that it's dosing the wrong amount.

I set it up to dose 288 ml per 24 hours. It dosed 200 ml the first time it ran.

I changed it to dose 30 ml per 24 hours. The next time it ran, it dosed 200 ml again. (It ran for over nine minutes.)

Both times I was sure to upload the configuration.

Maybe there's a flaw in my programming that's causing it to override the interval setup?

Alright, looks like the Set ON was the issue. I copied that from a post on Neptune's forum, but that was causing it to ignore the schedule and just run until I'm assuming a failsafe trigger cut it off. I replaced it with Fallback OFF, and it's working like it should now.

Gotta be careful with those, heh.

I had my fuge pump and thermostats set to "Fallback = OFF"... and when, for some unknown reason my Apex lost comms with the EB8 at 0530 today, it just shut them all off.

I had thought that was the safe bet, originally, but as a result my fuge pump was off for 7 some hours, along with my heaters. Seemed the thing to do with the fuge at first since I was so leery of my plumbing, but now I've set it to fall back to ON, and set one of my heaters to the same. I'd originally had both of the latter cranked to their max and was relying on the Apex to manage them - now I have one set to fallback off, and the other to on, and have lowered the max temp setting so worst case scenario, one is off and the other one will more or less run as normal, except since it's under-watted for the tank, it'll never hit the 81ºF setting I have dialed on it.

Actually makes me a bit glad I didn't go with titanium heaters that don't have built in thermostats. I know they're better overall, but these 150w Fluvals with temp setting dial gives me a little more flexibility when the Apex decides to take a nap for whatever reason.

My heaters have their own controller, and the Apex is the backup in case they and/or the controller have an issue. For my other two tanks, though, I just went with the heaters with the temp setting dial.
