Finnex Heater Red Light

Just bought a Finnex heater and it has a constant red light and the alarm is sounding. It’s supposed to mean that the out-of-water sensor is not submerged in water but mine is. When I touch the sensor with my hand, the alarm turns off and the light turns green. I don’t know what’s going on. Any suggestions?

Read the manual?Sounds faulty. Exchange it.

i had the same issue... sent in for a new one and replacment works fine now

Thanks! I finally got around to sending it in to Finnex. Turns out it was faulty and they ended up replacing it for free.
