This morning I saw something quite different:

The fire shrimp was holding a bristle worm and eating it (it still has an inch left). what's interesting is the bristle worm was still alive, and trying constantly attack the shrimp and the shrimp was eating at one end and trying to fend off the other end. (kinda like a falcon trying to eat a snake).

is that normal? fire shrimp hunting and eating bristle worm alive?

Thats cool.. Wish you would have snapped a picture though.. :)

I could introduce that shrimp to its nemesis.. I spotted a BW the other night moving across the tank.. Too bad Im a slacker also and didnt get a pic.. that thing had to be all of 16" or better.

I was late to work and didn't have time to fetch the camera. I just had to stare at the shrimp chowing down the worm, quite disgusting while I was eating cereal.

Last night I found one in my 24g that was 10". Now the only LR in there was bleached and sat out in the sun for a few days, and all the sand was new and washed. The rest was frag plugs.

I caught him in some tupperware and dumped him in the 90.
