do I have too many fish in my 180g display tank?
naso blonde tang
purple tang
blue hippo tang
2 yellow tang
sailfin tang
trio flame wrasse
2 leopard wrasse
2 madarin

Why what are you wanting to add? How large and established is your fuge?
I don't think you have too many fish just too many from the same family. Only my opinion buddy

I agree with Smoothie. Not "too many fish" but "too many tangs." 6 tangs is a lot.

I don't see any issues with the others.

It's a MRC sump build in fug, I don't want to add any more fish and I don't feel like I have too many fish but when I look at the tank I feel like too many tang in there, they all get alone very good, I want to remove one or two of the yellow tang but they are impossible to catch.

Flip the lights on in the middle of the night and scoop them out when they "sleep swim" out.

They sleep behind the rock, wish it's that easy.

When you turn the lights on, they should swim out, but they'll be sleepy and won't move as fast. Should make them easier to catch.

Thanks, I give up on catching the yellow tang, my next try will be fish it out if I can find a small hook.

I hope this is a joke but plzz put it on youtube if you do it lol

I'll take the naso phi ;) Just make sure your nitrates are fine and that will tell you if you have too many fish. Then go from there

Yes if you catch it, it's your. You can try to go for both.

this method i wouldnt suggest. tangs are algae eaters meaning they have soft mouths. the fish could starve to death long before the injury could heal.

Yes sir, without mess up my reef.
