I noticed my firefish had a white spot poking out of his side this morning. It wasnt there at least 36 hours ago. I'm not sure if it was damage from another fish or what. Also, the fins on my scissortail have been a little think. He shows no signs of sickness so I was wondering if it was just a deficiency in his diet or something else. I had a bad rookie Nella outbreak but that was a few months ago and I let the tank lay fellow for a while. I've had no issues since. I feed the tank a mix of Bryce's as well as rods food mixed with selcon. All water parameters are where they should be.

Does that fish dart into the rocks when frightened? I've had a few fish over the years that were very easy to startle and they'd always get bumps and scratches on them from running into the rock work. Is this a possibility? I don't like how round and uniform the spot is but some of mine will get a small abrasion that ends up getting irritated in one particular spot.
