In the last week and a half I have lost a Chocolate Tang a Kole Tang 2 Skunk Clowns and just yesterday I lost my first 2 fish my playful Occelaris. Have been medicating for Ich for the last week and my water parameters are spot on no nitrates or amonia or temp swings. What could be causing this?

first that sucks, sorry for the loss. Second. If all parameters are perfect, do you have any weird algae growth in the tank? How are the fish acting? Are they darting around? Do they have any red in the gills? Id stop all treatments. Could be some sort of parasite but to lose so many so quick I doubt it.

All of the fish were and still are eating well and swimming about as usual. No signs of ich were present but I am erring on te side of prevention just in case. No signs of anything out of the ordinary just dead fish.

Nope nothing out of the ordinary. The tank has been in this location for about 5 month and no problems. I had been adding fish and then this.

you have a fish pathogen that is in your system that you will need to treat asap, and without further info, we can't help.....

symptoms of fish? what signs? any sings of salt looking items on scales of fish?

Sounds like an internal infection or contamination of the water. Although a sick fish probably wouldnt eat or would at least show some sort of signs. I would lean towards contamination.

Stress? What size tank?

Forgot to mention that since the first deaths I have added an Aqua UV 25 Classic to the system plumbed into the return and dumping into the skimmer chamber of the sump. I need to check the flow rate but I am running it very slowly.

100 display with a 29 gallon sump about 100 gallons of water. No stress I am aware of. All inhabitants got along well. I have an Emperor Tang, 4 Chromis, Diamond Goby and a Peppermint Shrimp as of now.
