So I was there maybe a week or so again and just have forgotten about it, but that tank looks terrible. The fish all looked like they were on their last life. There was a Clarkii in there with just a Perc and the perc was about dead, the hippo looked the same as well. Not sure if ARC had anything to do with that tank but I wonder if there is a way for us to get involved in helping it.

They use a service to setup and maintain the tanks. I believe its the same service at all three campuses. Children's is always open to donations and community assistance. The problem would be servicing them weekly in a clean manner. The company doing the work now has everything on carts. They wheel in the equipment, clean the tanks, and take everything back out. I don't think they do water changes very often due to getting water in and out.

If the club wanted to get involved, I know some people that work at Children's.

The tank was clean as far as algae growth and such, It just looked like a mis-match "lets throw whats left over" set of fish, and they were all killing each other. I remember about 5-6 years ago when I went there the tank had a large group of some silver fish I have never seen before in it, this last time there was only one left.

maybe it has something to do with all the diseases and chemicals in the air. I would think they use harsh stuff for sterilization.
