I have a leather finger that looks like it's dying. The base looks like it's flaking and is starting to fall of the rock. It shriveled up to half it size and I don't see any polyps extension. I have it sitting in the middle of the tank with medium flow. I have other types of leather coral and they are doing great except for the leather finger. Some people think it's molting and others think it's some kind of disease. What do you guys think? Should I cut off the flaky part or wait until it heals itself?

Its just sloughing off, give it a few days it should bounce right back...
