Its a matter of letting them get accustom to each other and having enough room to let them have territory. They were all purchased at the same time, same size and QTed together.

Is this just with dwarf angels or will it work with large angels to?

My favorite fish!

~50g tank (or larger)
~well established system (6 months or longer)
~plenty of well-seasoned live rock for grazing and hiding

Also strongly recommend a quarantine/acclimation period (3+ weeks) in a separate holding tank before introducting the fish into the display. Feed frequently until the fish is fat, healthy, robust and ready to hold its own with its new tank mates.

Make sure you keep an eye on amonia levels in the Q/T and do water changes accordingly. Frequent feedings = rapid loss of water quality. Q/T should use ambient light and should contain plenty of hiding places to eliminate as much stress as possible.

Flame angels are great fish. Great colouration and personality.

They can nip at clams, so you just have to be careful. THey like to graze for food, picking at the live rock throughout the day, so they are best added to a mature tank.

i have one and i know some one is going to say my tank is too small but he seems to be alot happyer then the lil box he was in for about 2 weeks josh said. he loves his new family the six line- joker, the royal gramma- ruby, and the 2 fire fish- tom and jerry lol

I have 5 angels in my 210. 1 very large scribbled, 1 emperor, 1 melanosoma, and 2 watanabeis. Provided you add them appropriately and feed well, it is quite possible. Just research and be smart.

Mine is actually very easy to take care of but I will soon be getting rid of him. He just took out my plate coral and has been nipping at some other sps corals that I have.

Yes it is hit or miss with those angels... before you buy it, just assume it will nip or eat corals and ask yourself if you are ok with it.
