Been in qt for 4 weeks but I don't have the stomach to add this fish to my reef tank.

I have had a Coral Beauty in a mixed reef tank for 3 + years. Never a problem. Never even seen a nip on SPS.

I can second this, Ive had mine for 6 months or so and its my favorite fish. The only thing it ever ate was some dying xenia I got from a trade.

I talked to a guy at my lfs that theorized that the very orange ones got that way from consuming zooanthelea. So when picking them choose ones that are more purple blue, which I did. Sounds like a plausible theory. Is yours bright orange or no? Also, they are hearty eaters so if you added her and she goes crazy I bet you could trap by baiting.

Are you looking to rehome him? I may be interested as long as you would understand that if he starts to pick I will find a new home for him.

I had bad luck with a coral beauty in the past and just nervous. Love the fish but also love my corals.

I've got one in with frogspawn, hammer, zoas and a toadstool and thus far it hasn't messed with them. Coincidentally, its color is a bit more on the pale side.
