Have a pretty interesting story to tell.
So my dad goes and buys a small flame angelfish for his 110 gallon fish only system. After 2 failed attempts at keeping flame angelfish alive, he figured the third time would be the charm. This tank currently houses a large lionfish, two triggers, blueface angelfish, and a lunar wrasse. ( some of you might know whats coming). So he brings the flame angelfish home to the tank and proceeds to acclimate him. Right as I come home and walk in the door I see him putting the angelfish in the tank, and realize a huge mistake had just been made. Right as he puts the angelfish in the tank, the lionfish gulps him right up. 30 minutes pass by and I look inside the lion fish's mouth and realize the angelfish is still breathing! Then, I decided to take matters into my own hands and try and save this fish. I began to chase the lionfish around the tank with the net and about 10 minutes later he spits the fish out of his mouth, and shockingly its alive! Its amazing how tough this little flame angelfish is, and he only came out with a nipped up tail. After I was able to net the angelfish I put him into my reef tank. He actually ate today too! He is doing just fine. Picture below shows the only damage done.
