You got it Dave. The words I was trying to remember is my post above was "calcium carbonate scale". I believe that the thread I was talking about earlier in this post that I read some time ago may even have some responses from you, Dave.

Anyway; I guess maybe I'm not getting old after all because I remembered the previous posts some months back about wiper arms in UV sterilizers and to avoid them when using in saltwater setups.
