ok so in an effort to continually make the tank better im trying to dial in one thing at a time. new lights are working great and i couldnt be happier. next on my list is flow

its a 4 ft 90 gallon tank. i have 2 mp40w es on opposite walls facing each other. i currently have it on reefcrest anti sync at about 80%. i see a lot of people in similar set ups with much lower %'s going on. its a mixed reef (yes i understand certain corals prefer different flow) but what modes/% would you reccomend running in general (ill place the coral as needed as i go).

Checkout liverock27's build thread, I literally asked the same question (minus an mp10 on the back wall).

As for me, I have 2 mp40s on each side of my 125 on reef crest antisync and run them around 50% with great results. I just added an mp10 to the back wall on 30% and the only noticeable change thus far is pe

My tank is a cube, so I know that it is hard to compare.

One mp40 on the back. One mp10 on the left side. I have them on short pulse at %100, just trying to get a wave effect. It's pretty fun to watch, every now and then it looks like it might slosh out.

If I were to use reefcrest, I would use about %60-%75

Wave is easy. Short pulse anti sync set on a % that makes it the size you want.

As to the rest I should specify that I'm looking for a happy healthy medium. Not geared towards growth or towards easy life on the fish. Bottom line, on a 90 what setting and what strength would you use to mimic a reef

I have a 55gal with two powerheads. (Sicce voyager 2 -about 800gph and forgot the name of the other, but it is 1200 or so gph)
Neither does on/off/wave..ect..
Currently I have the Sicce one the left side/ 2/3's up from the bottom, near the back of the tank pointing to the right side. The other I have also 2/3's up on the right side back, but angled to the middle of the front glass. I have good flow.

So.. my question is if I should point the two at each other? I hear alot of people do that with on/off/wave ph's, but should you do it with always on ph's? Wouldn't that just create a dump in the middle of the tank where everything would just drop to the sand?
btw.. I hated the way the tank looked with two ph's in the front, so that is why I moved them to the back. The LR are all in the middle of the tank. (ie: my conch loves the fact that he can move end to end in one big circle and even though some caves)
